We appreciate your interest in Giammalva Racquet Club for your special function. Our staff will work very closely with you to provide the type of arrangements, menus and service that will create a successful and memorable function. To better serve your needs, appointments must be made with the catering office in advance.
Reservations and Guarantees- An approximate guest count is required at the time of booking. Confirmation of the number of guests attending must be made two working days prior to the scheduled function. If no guarantee is received your estimate becomes your guarantee. All charges will be based on the guarantee, or the actual number of guests attending if greater than the guarantee. On parties exceeding 50 guests, the club will prepare for 5% more than the guaranteed count. Menu- Final menu selections should be made at least two weeks prior to the function date. Quoted prices are subject to change with a 30 day notice. No Food or Beverage of any kind, unless purchased from the club, may be consumed on the Club's premises at any time (wedding or other specialty cakes excepted). Personal Property and Parking-The club assumes no liability for vehicles while on the club's premises. Valet parking is available at the clients expense. We do not assume any responsibility for personal property left in the Club by the host or guest prior, during or following the function. We are not responsible for articles left in motor vehicles while parked on Club premises. Room Charges- There is a $250 food and beverage revenue minimum requirement for any private party. If food and beverages charges do not exceed the room revenue minimum, the difference is charges as a room charge. Rooms booked for meetings and seminars without food service will be charged a room charge. The room charge for members is $50.00. The room charge for non-members is $100.00. Billing and Charges- A $250 Deposit is required for all non-member functions. Estimates should be paid no later than one week prior to the function. The remaining balance is due at the end of the function. In addition to your food and beverage charges, a service charge of 15% for members and 17% for non members will be added to all food and beverage checks. State sales tax of 7.25% will be added to food sales. Sales tax exempt groups must provide a certificate to the club with the proper information prior to the function date. Decorations- All decorations brought in to the club should be approved prior to arrival. The use of nails or staples are for decorations in any part of the clubhouse is specifically prohibited. Guests who injure the property of the Club will be required to pay for the cost of repair or replacement thereof. Outdoor parties- All parties that are held on the deck or poolside will be charged an additional $1.50 per person due to additional set-up and labor requirements. Security- The Club requires security for certain events i.e. teen parties. Security officers are available at the clients' expense. Additional Services- At your request, the club will be pleased to assist you with arrangements for floral centerpieces, decorations, music entertainment, valet parking, and photography services. These services are subject to a 10% handling fee. |
