Sammy Giammalva Sr.: Advisor and Consultant. Sammy Sr. has over 40 years of club experience. He was the General Manager of the Houston Metropolitan Racquet Club for the first 22 years of its operation. He played Davis Cup for the United States in the 50's and coached Rice University to 10 Southwest Conference Championships. He is currently in the Texas Tennis Hall of Fame, Italian Hall of Fame, Rice University Hall of Fame, University of Texas Hall of Fame and St. Thomas Hall of Fame. The Houston Chronicle voted him as the number one tennis player in the history of the Southwest Conference in January of 2000.
