Weather: Practices and meets may have to be postponed or cancelled in the event of thunder or heavy rain. Meets: Come to the meet unless you receive a phone call telling you it is cancelled.
Swim Meet Procedures: Meets start promptly at 8:30am, and generally end by 12:30pm. However, warm-ups usually start at 7:00am or 7:30am depending on whether we're at home or at an away meet. It is important for swimmers to check in upon arrival with the Clerk of Course or one of the coaches. You will be notified of check in and warm up times for each meet in the Tuesday newsletter. If a swimmer cannot be at a swim meet due to illness or unexpected schedule change, you must let the Clerk of Course, Duane Jerome know! Please never approach an official, parent, swimmer, or coach on an opposing team with any kind of complaint. To swim in the Divisional meet at the end of the season and to qualify for a participation award at the end of the season, a swimmer must have competed in at least 2 dual meets. Email: We would like use email communication for nonessential communication during the season and between seasons.
