I was not sure about a personal trainer when I started two years ago.  I never did that before.  I played tennis, jogged, and sometimes hit weights.  Did not have discipline that having trainer forced me to have.  This has kept me in gym doing weights for two years now. That I like. I need to reduce my weight (not muscle), but that is ME reducing my calories and on my off days getting back to aerobic exercise (self-discipline issues). The weights have helped in my speed, I feel stronger, and I do believe my injury time is less with consistent training.
