Giammalva Racquet Club is pleased to host a tennis mixer for the Houston Tennis Association’s National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) program this Memorial Day, May 29th. A raffle will be held and ticket sales will benefit the NJTL’s free youth development program. The entry fee for GRC members is $7.50 and $10 for nonmembers.
NJTL’s Youth Tennis Mixer
The NJTL’s youth development programs include free tennis classes, educational classes, and opportunities for scholarships. The programs serves more than 6,000 children each year in over 60 schools and neighborhood parks.
Don’t be late! Check-in for the mixer is at 8:30 am. At the mixer, you can play tennis and hit for prizes. Tennis pro Henri Elkins will also be putting on the Bijou Tennis Show. In it, he will amaze you with trick shots and acrobatics all while making you laugh. You can buy $10 or $100 raffle tickets to support the NJTL’s youth programs.
Austin City Limits Music Festival passes, tennis racquets, gear and lessons, gift baskets, and dining gift cards and other prizes valued at $25 and up will be given. There are more than 30 different prizes in the $10 category.
The top prizes will be reserved for the $100 tickets. They will include US Open tickets for two including airfare and hotel, Austin City Limits Festival tickets for two along with a $500 Visa gift certificate, two River Oaks’ US Men’s Clay Court Championship weekend tickets with tennis gear, fine jewelry along with dinner for 8 at Ciro’s Italian Grill; and two tickets to the 2018 Game Set Match Gala & Tennis Fashion Show.
